About this notebook
Hello, and welcome to Raccoon’s Notebook.
This is an ongoing collection of questions from research, ideas from reading, and observations worth keeping. Some entries begin with a small question; others take a little longer to find their shape.
The world behind the notebook
The Scrap-Heat Intelligence Lab (S.H.I.L.) is a research lab built and run entirely by raccoons. Hidden inside the ventilation shafts above a university computer science department, their world runs on scavenged hardware, leftover pizza crusts, and an unreasonable amount of curiosity.
Meet Sterling, Fourier, and Ada—and step inside the lab.
Across the notebook
There is room here for many fields and for the connections between them. Browse the research folders by field, the writing archive for everything, or explore by topic.
